This world does not provide us access to our good Lord as easily as it does to evil. The fact remains that as Christians, we are constantly going to be under attack. Jesus won the war for us, but Satan needs to get his last pound of flesh, so he is going to do everything possible to make our existence here as hard as possible.

We are going to be attacked; we are going to doubt. Doubt causes uncertainty and fear. A gradual growing apart from God, being pulled away from the comfort of his security. When we are walking in God’s way, the narrow path, it is easy to topple us if we do not hang tight. But Paul’s inspiring verses in 1 Corinthians, should put us right back on our track.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.
”55 “O Death, where is your sting?
O Hades, where is your victory?”56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
-1 Corinthians 15:50-58
I find Paul words very comforting. We are going to encounter numerous pitfalls in the way of health, obstruction and slowing down of Godly endeavors we take on, making us doubt ourselves. Every Christians goes through this, let’s band together and remind ourselves that we are all here to be hands and feet of our good Lord. Let’s trust that the one who put us here will take us through this. Our God is mightier than any problem thrown our way. Trust in our good Lord.
Dear Jesus,
You overcame death. You love me and You are with me every moment of every day. The Holy Spirit drives me in loving ways. I have nothing to fear. Please help me remember this throughout the day and every day. May my words and actions please you today. Amen.
