This time of year is hard for many people when it comes to shopping for their dear ones. We need to plan ahead, find time to shop, keep it a secret and wrap it up in time to get it under the tree on Christmas morning.
I am not going to give you a list of best Christmas gifts for your spouse or child. If you need ideas there are so many generous people posting articles on google. And then there is AI that can come up with creative ideas through algorithms fed by people and their searches.

When I was talking to Father Almighty on Saturday, doing my usual rant, it occurred to me that He gave us the ultimate Christmas gift. He placed this wonderful gift in a manger in Bethlehem on Christmas Day.
Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”
Luke 2:10-12
I am sure some of you have heard this said many times, but it hit me for the first time that He gave us the ultimate gift. A gift that keeps on giving. The gift that loves us unconditionally, the gift that transforms us into perfect little images of Jesus. The gift that gives us eternal peace, protects us and brings us back Home safe into the loving arms of our God.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16
Do we need any other gifts? We have all we need in Jesus. When I said yes to Jesus, I finally opened this gift of abundance that God dropped in my world before I was born. I hope this Christmas others do not take as long as I did and will open God’s ultimate gift to mankind soon.
Dear God,
Thank You for Jesus. In Your infinite wisdom You gave us a gift that will keep us safe and protect us from evil. Please help me share this gift with all Your children so that we may please You by making Heaven crowded. Amen.
