Your constant companion

Christian, God is with you today. He is with you all day, everyday. I know this, not because you are good but because He is.

I feel like shouting this message from the highest mountain and being heard loud and clear. God loves you! He talks to you regularly. Listen! Just listen.

How do I know God listens and talks to us? Simple, keep a journal to count your blessings and answered prayers. Be observant, notice how the same scripture verse pops up multiple times in a day. The scripture reference almost always addresses something you are facing.

Recently, I was talking to a dear friend and he said the scripture I was referencing was sent to him in a random text by another acquaintance from another part of the world. Is this coincidence or does God love him and have a message for him? God loves him, God loves you, every one of us. He is capable of that and much much more.

There are 31,102 Bible verses per AI. I chanced upon the same verse this morning in my daily bible reading and my spiritual growth book ( 7 virtues of a P31 woman). How is that possible? Do the math to compute the probability and you will see. To top it all, it was related to Faith, a prayer and blog I wrote about yesterday.

The author of the universe, took time to answer me, sit with me and open my eyes to what He has to say. This is not unique to me, He does this for you and everyone of our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I am sure He takes time with non-Christians as well but that is for another day’s blog.

Read the scripture, quiet the noises in and around you, meditate on the verse you are reading. The creator of the universe is talking to you. Listen! and Obey!

Dear Jesus,

Still my heart and mind so that I can pay attention to You. Your words are more precious than anything in this world. What am I that You should take time for me? But yet, here You are. Merciful, benevolent, gracious, Almighty. I am forever Your grateful daughter. May I bring glory to you today. Amen!

NOTE: In case you are curious, the scripture that was prompted to me multiple times today is from Mark.

30 Then He said, “To what shall we liken the kingdom of God? Or with what parable shall we picture it? 31 It is like a mustard seed which, when it is sown on the ground, is smaller than all the seeds on earth; 32 but when it is sown, it grows up and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out large branches, so that the birds of the air may nest under its shade.”

-Mark 4:30-32
